  1. 10 grand lol…i have a cad8 and it has the si on the top tube also…i guess i got some same things on my bike as this beast

  2. it’s only illegal for UCI races. If you happen to do a UCI race, you can add heavier components to get it to the 14.99 weight limit. that’s what the pros do.

  3. Im not a fan of TT bikes due to the extreme position they put the rider in vs the comfort factor.

Get a road bike and slap tt bars on it. You will be able to train easier and longer as a result.

TT bikes are more wank than anything. Its a wank tank industry. The pro’s ride em cos they get paid too. Yeah there is a few seconds benefit for aero but what about the fact one can’t breath as efficiently? Thats my rant on it.

TT bikes corner and climb like crap.

  4. Harley is right. My local bike shop is a Cannondale dealer and if you’re the original owner they will replace a cracked or broken frame however old the bike is. I’ve seen them do it.

  5. And while you’re at it you can explain how a starch based diet is more suited to homo spiens whereas fruit is more suited to lesser apes. How cooking food provides more calories and how human saliva is rich in amylase for starch breakdown. Also how fruit rich areas are primarily equatorial but people are not. I suppose 30 potatoes a day doesn’t sound as catchy does it. Cherry picking your facts just like the other hucksters isn’t good. It takes more than a little liquid paper to erase the truth.

  6. Your analogies are as funny as your understanding of carbon frame manufacture. Your Chinese or Taiwanese manufacturers don’t stand behind their workmanship so much as their willingness to provide a replacement when it breaks. That’s because they are cheap in material and construction and hence cheap to replace. I don’t give a shit about a bricklayer standing by their job because I can tell the difference between one who knows what he’s doing and one who doesn’t.

  7. All the shit you spin about carbon and it turns out that you’re a Lance fanboy with a Trek OCLV 5900 fat. I buy and ride bikes, you buy a warranty, a piece of paper no less. I bet it’s great fun explaining the ‘lifetime’ replacement. Good luck with that.

How tall are you in cm? Im 184 and i have a 56cm eddy Merckx AMX-1 … Back hurts sometimes, the lower back to the right. Might be because i hurt my back like 6 months ago while doing legpresses. My question is, is a 56cm bike good for ALL ppl that are 184cm tall? Or does it depend a lot on how long your legs are? Cheers 🙂

Yea. I had to watch it a few times! I still haven’t figured out if it is a tactic or just a deaf and dumb dog.

  10. 3. I used to have more but therapy is working.
I still fap off to ebay listings of near new 56cm 5900’s though. 😉

  11. Most brand name bikes coming out of China have a life time warranty. I can’t think of a single brand of bike coming out of Italy that has even a 10 warranty..

The reality is that Chinese make a far superior carbon product in 2012 than the Italian’s ever have based on quality of workmanship backed by a warranty.

Its like the bricklayers having a debate over who does a better job. Im going with the person that stands by their production methods for sure.

The real test, is how does it do against an ill-timed release of a golden retriever on the tour.
